Just got back from my long weekend in Cornwall

Visited Newquay on the way down on Fri but the access to my Giant Goby mark has been damaged in the storm leaving a 6ft drop between the ledges which at my age is a no-no I am not as agile as I used to be:wheelchai

We then called into the Harbour master office at Hayle where the nice gentleman explained how we get to the Lagoon whilst the building works are in progress on South Quay BUT he said we can only fish the top of the tide because the fluffy bird hugging brigade have got control of the Hayle estuary and the lagoon and have banned fishing at low tide:doh:

So I have to find another Gilthead mark as well as another Giant Goby mark

Saturday was wet and windy and I blanked on Penzance harbour wall although my brothers caugh a couple of Corkwings and a L/S Sea Scorpion

As the weathed had cancelled our boat at Penzance on Sunday we drove over to newquay again and managed a trip out on Atlantic Diver but it wasn't a lot calmer on that side of Cornwall but at least we got out and I gained another Lifetime first with this, amongst the Pout and Doggies and the boat boy managed a Coalfish as well.

Fished the pool at low water yesterday and have done loads of times before. Didn't know it was banned... Oops!
Any good ? we decided the tides were wrong for us as we were only down for the weekend so are in the midst of arranging a longer session in June/July
