Afternoon chaps,

Will it be worth trekking all the way down to Dungie this Sunday (daytime) or will the lead be flying back at me or washing back up on the beach within 2 mins judging by the forecast?

This may all be a little dramtatic you hardcore fisherman but I had a bad experience with wind at Dungie once and lost so much gear!

Cheers!

the forecast will change many times between now and Sunday...1.15pm thurs at present the forecst for after 6am sunday is SW max gusts of 23mph if this stays dungie should fish its tits off!!!!!there will be some decent surf because of the wind the day before but just put your rod tip as high as possible and keep your line out of the surf and it will be easily fished ...if the wind still worries you fish between the trawlers and lifeboat and the wind will be coming from behind

im down fri afternoon till sat morning sometime and will post about conditions etc so you will have sme up to date info

but make sure you DO go because the conditions are perfect for cod or bass

Gusting up to 36mph on a southerly, could be a problem.
I always read the forecast and add 10mph on for that mark.
Depends how brave you are really!
Spot on !!!, always blows at least 5 or 10 mph more down there
