what are u wanting to know geoff
Hi I have a caravan near Penrith and fancied workington area beaches from end of May through till eNd of September. Unsure about where to fish and what to fish for flatties, bass whatever. Any advice would be greatly appreciated as never fished over your side of country. I mainly fish north east beaches for cod, whiting etc.
Many thanks
Geoff

oldside which is the port side of workington near the windmills. a real mixed bag of fish here and a choice of clean ground mixed ground and rough ground like anywere fresh bait gets results. also the opposite pier side attracts the mackerel fishermen in the warmer months. the blocks is the place if thats your thing plenty of small pollock to lures and feathers.
