its not a bad place to fish on a big tide!
gives you a little more distance and also a more comfortable place to shelter! fished ther once or twice when i havnt been able to get into the peir! fishes same as the beach!

I didnt know you could get on the lido to fish. Out of interest what does everyone prefer. Fishing from the pier or from the beach. :g:

There use to be a sign on there that said no fishing during certain hours in the summer months ... better check for signs before you set up

I've fished it a few times over the years and had flats and schoolies. Best on a big tide though.

its alright bertie ive fished there once and caught a bootlace and a schoolie

but you are better of on the pier mate

its just the same.
