I catch a few by accident while lure fishing for bass -- with soft plastics and also with hard sub-surface plugs. But lately I have had less than usual. I think the wrack beds on one of my marks, where I used to get a lot of wrasse and pollack -- were ripped away by the storms.

Do tackle shios normally supply hardbacks or would i have to scavenge for them, also whats the best way to fish a hardback ? I had a wrasse have a go at a diving pencil hard plastic before, was surprised to see it, must be territorial instead of hunget
