hi all just wondering what you thought on fishing on the edge?me i think he is a good angler but someone like a top northeast angler would be canny to watch like a dobie or harvey or maybe the two of them going round the northeast fishing local marks would better than reading books and watching the telly plus just think of all the tips you could pick up what do you think lads?

I would like to see him going round the entire UK (one part of the country per episode) where he joins up with a local knowledgable angler.

Dont worry lads, ive just come off the phone to the Director of the BBC and he has given me a slot at 7.30pm on saturday night to do a show about some gadge from peterlee stood on the middleton amongst the ****e freezing his nuts off - if I knew it was as easy as that id have phoned him sooner!
Just video one youself, band a few episodes on youtube and u'll be a a star overnight............
would be hard to get the television crew on where i fish with out getting seen so i guess its out the question :secret::cold:
Is the North East coast a secret ?Thats OK but will be giving away secret fishing locations and the north east anglers wont like that as i learned not so long ago about putting locations on a map so putting them on the tel I can see them crying now.

I think it would take some character to replace Henry lads. He has the charisma and style to make things very exciting for the viewers. I bet if you invited him to the north east and told him your reasons he would seriously consider it. Id love to get him up here for a kayak fishing episode or an evening down Port with Paul Lobley and the lads. Drop him an email he always answers .

I think he'd struggle to catch up this way,can you see him climbing down some of the marks the lads here fish or even fish from the cliff tops, granted he is a good angler and has a good tv presence,the top lads up here would eat him alive fish wise, on the plus side though if he did/or was to come up this way it would high light the Norths fishing potential and what we have to offer everyone, for me it would do us no harm at all if he did a couple of episodes up this way
he must have been up north & fished the northumberland coast at least what with his links with greys of alnwick ? surley they just don't send gear for nowt to people on the telly for advertising exposure etc are the photos on there site from down south ?

With some good editing , you could have whoever turning up at a local mark .
Then catching something (Close-up mind ) where-ever there's fish ,
like the South west Coast .Less travel expenses :laugh:
