Hi,
I’m looking for any recommendations of 9cm - 11/12g sp & hp lures that you have had reasonable success with please.

Cheers

Fiish black minnow 90. with the 10g head(I think) casts like a bullet, great flash in the Khaki version. The small, Sidewinder albie snax copy is also something a bit different. A lure that you won't get over here is the Slick baits Jnr, got snapped off recently fishing one and its been quite successful on the few trips I've had this year. I've been meaning to get some of the smaller bait breath TT shads as the 4" is really good. The mini red gill evo's are also worth packing.

I’ve had a few bass on the small Rocket Bait but, I lost mine on my last trip to the Azores in 2019.
I was catching small Jacks and Bluefish with it……….one every chuck!
It was an iridescent blue/silver Anchovy pattern, but it eventually got bitten off at the flouro leader by what I suspect was a big Bluefish.
Bye bye £24 😕
Very good lure and as you said, they cast as well as a metal.

Out of curiosity why exactly 9cm and that weight?
You wouldn't go far wrong with a duo teriff dc7 or dc9. I always carry an IMA popkey 100 and the longin levin light 90 would be worth a look but I prefer the heavier version.
Another vote for the maria squash 95, very good in shallow estuaries on a fast retrieve.
Yes, a DC9 gets out there and can be fished slow, keeping it in the take zone longer.
