Puffy and bigmouth then left us as we fished on, yokelrobin quietly bringing in this fishy (I think he was up to no good with it, as he looks a bit guilty and the fishy was stiffy:

Not to be outdone by a mackerel, I pulled in this stunner of a weedfish...

and then got a new PB of a bigger wrasse!!! I couldn’t BELIEVE how heavy it was! It was at least 1lb!!! My biggest fishy yet, I think! At first I thought I had a snag, and I said a naughty word a few times. sunnyfishies both helped me land it, and then Jules got it off the hook for me. I’m so terrified of hurting the fish and holding them wrong, so Jules held it for me...

...and bless her, returned it for me (click the fishy if you want to see) :fish:

I learned that wrasse float a while, either thinking about what’s just happened, or teasing me to make me think I killed them.

All went quiet after that, but it was a beautiful evening with beautiful friends, and although I was sooooo tired, I was really glad I went and stayed as long as I did, and I am grateful to all my friends (not least Puffy for bait and Big Bruvverage, sunnyfishies for my Gingas and leads, and bigmouth for both letting me play with his plastic ball and then letting me keep it!!!).

It was a FAB fishetty fishing session, and I LOVED it. Thank you, everyone. I love you :group:

Gutted we didn't actually feather for the yellow helmets down there. I reckon they'd have given a good account of themselves.. especially a few at once. They'd probably go better then that lobster pot you tried to land bigmouth :busted_co
