I am always looking for new knots to try. Perhaps not too much new stuff on this site http://www.netknots.com/html/fishing_knots.html
but I am sure some will find it useful.
Braid and fluorocarbon always need specific knots as they are slippery. The San Diego jam knot looks good for braid and the Seaguar knot handy for joining a fluorocarbon leader to mono.
Here is another animated knot site http://www.marinews.com/fishing_line/fishing_line_to_tackle.html. Perhaps it's been posted before but handy to have a reminder.
Any knot that works well with fluorocarbon should also work work well with some of the newer, small diameter mono lines such as AWA-Shima. Most of the usual knots such as blood and uni knots slip far too easily and do not get the best out of these quality lines. Knots with some element of a jam usually work best.
