thats the way to do it mate,double team them ,makes it easier on your back ! the foul hooked one must have been a nightmare,its bad enough foul hooking a decent thorny.great pics,keep it up lads,good to see happy smiling fishermen .

3 of us fished for common skate last night , 2 skate got landed , the first was a 204lb female that had swallowed 2 baits and ended up with 2 guys fighting and landing it (steven mo and pj) after only a 10-15 minute fight ,this skate already had a hook in it , it was a skate that was lost 10 days ago to a snag just a few yds from shore by Lew Marsden View attachment 185270
the second was a foul hooked male that took a good 45mins - 1 hour to land , these were all new fish that hadnt been landed before View attachment 185273

Lol. Geoff was just on the phone asking me to look at the charts to see how big a skate he just landed was. 68 x 86 which is a little over 200lbs. Well done Geoff and plenty time for another tonight. I might just have to move my lazy @rse and go get one myself!
