I had a pack of lug, some king prawns and squid left last night so I went on a tidler bash.
The baits where small, getting 3-4 baits out of each lug worm, and tipping them off with fingernail size pieces of squid and prawn.

Thing was the wind started off about 20mph gusting a bit more, within an hour of getting there it must have nearly hit 40 and the rain came in.

Anyhow, the fishing was good (well for what I went after). I managed a double shot on the first cast.

Followed by a triple header:

In the end I ended up with 14, and one postage sized dab which was wipped off of my hook by the wind.

Heres the pics, enjoy:

They are only bits but I enjoyed it, despite the double and triple shots they were not that easy to come by, I guess that is whiting off of the list . Not bad for 2 and a half hours fishing and I didn't blank!

To be honest not really, there were some nice bass to big crab/mackeral baits in October/November and there is an Old boy who fishes there next to his shop.

I do know that the last 'bay' type bit with no shop chucks up some reasonable flatties, I usually fish the end because I get more time on the tide.
