Fished by the hut today and all I caught was the sun. I thought that as it was Monday that it would be a bit quieter than the weekend. There were jet skis, windsurfers, swimmers and various sailing and rowing boats. I didn't stand a chance.
My beach hut is basically a shed by the sea. :thumbs:The hut? Is that a type of shed?
Never mind, at least you were fishing. I was toiling away under a broiling sun, forming window openings in the barn conversion in building.
Better time to do it then in 3 months time with wind rain andThe hut? Is that a type of shed?

oi!thats an official parking spot,if you have the right badgeThey're a strange bunch that side of the water Miz.
I've got a soft spot for Brightlingsea though - anywhere where the locals view chevrons on the road as somewhere else to park has to be amusing - as long as you're not trying to get up the main drag in a Land Rover ........
Excellent high quality butchers there though, and Craig's worms are always good quality ( Brightlingsea Bait and Tackle - near the hard ).
Haven't gone yet Dale - the Missus has had major keyhole shoulder surgery ( loads of ripped tendons ) so I've been the child minder / taxi / handyman / person to scream at for the last couple of weeks - hence no fishy reports.hope ireland went ok.
Don't think the spot matters that much HC, but I always use Rag in the summer. Others have done OK on lug, but it hasn't worked for me. Crab is generally a waste of time. Good luck and let us know how it goes.Unlucky about the blank i have only fished there once and had a tiny bass but hoping to go there tomorrow. What would you say the best bait and spot is for brightlingsea.
any answers are greatly appreciated![]()
Therein lays your answer to the blank ..... got to be able to slow up the little leggy critters at B/sea. Fair do's because it is difficult at times.hooks coming back clean within 5 minutes of being out
use some bouyant rig foam or purpose made floats on your hook snoods.yep can not argue with that and what do u think would be a good idea to get away from the little buggers?
There's some right monsters.mullet at brightlingsea never heard of that before and good luck tomorrow
have you had many? ,we used to think they were uncatchable years ago. There's some right monsters.
