As posted in a previous post.

Try tipping with mussels mate, it gave me more fish than a rag/squid coctail. I was using a 3 hook falapper and only the baits tiped with mussel were touched.

as lee said but also try lug both fresh blow and blacks seem to be catching the better fish at the mo even out on the boats but to be fair had a load of codling at penarth last weekend and all came on rag but at distance

 

Not the Foreshore but a good few codling coming up at the barrage yesterday. I caught on frozen lug.
