I use warm water and that eco friendly washing up soap. Just sponge down. Or get the wife to hose you down.:yucky:

Put mine in the washing machine on hand wash with plenty of soap flakes. Always thought normal detergents had an affect on the water proofing. Then leave to drip dry. I do this every other session. Always been good for me.

 

Washing machine cold long wash with nikwax (think thats what its called). Then put it outside to dry or on very light heat in the dryer (dont be tempted to go high temperature. Two of my mates had the floaty shrunk around the sleeves)

 

only wash it with the waterproof liquid that you put in your machine , you can get it from go outdoors ..

 

I've just looked at mine and the label says: wash down with warm water; stubborn stains can be removed with liquid soap; don't tumble dry. If you're in doubt try emailing the manufacturer. Its worth noting that the most important thing about a floatation suit is that it floats! So make sure you don't damage the foam.

 

I put mine on a hand wash with just powder as softner can take the waterproof out of the gortex
