managed to time it right this morning for a change. pretty good sesh although i cant put a figure on the total amount. i would think it would be over 20 with a couple decent ones. one over 3lb easy. i need to get someone to show me how to post photos as i do not have a scooby doo. the bigger of the bass give me a pretty good slash on the finger too. spiney little blighters. oh and the better one was taken 15ft from my feet. what a buzz that was when it took off. it was great fun on a 60gram rated rod. i maybe manage to sleep the night..:thumbs:

looking back its funny that. TACTICS that have worked very well in the past just didnt produce. its a bit frustrating when you know full well you are taking the proper approach but to no avail. and hearing that the local guys are getting some good yins. you start to question your own tactics. history tells us that we are doing the right thing but when sesh after sesh you can touch a decent one when all around you everyone else seems to be getting them you do start to question your judgement. sorry but iam just one of that guys who likes to catch there share. and beats himself up if he isint doing so. ah well thats a lesson learned 60quids worth of new lures that i didnt really need. they will find a home beside the other hundreds of bass lures that i dont use.. lol... trico/worldchamp98/gusmg/rauri/and the other guys that commented on my last post id just like to say thanks:clap::clap::clap:

I seem to be having trouble uploading pics. If the image is high resolution enough to see, then WSF site tells me it's too large to upload. So I reduced the resolution.
There's a wee outboard motor boat with 2 folks fishing right within yards of the outflow. They're inside the wooden pilings even.
aha i think i just figured out who you are,wasnt it just me on my own tho,i was walking back from the lighthouse n stopped to watch and you encouraged me to give it a go with the 4" fladen eels i had and sure enough out came a fish even tho i had a 12ft pier rod and my mag elite? either that or it was the year after when we had bought into the hype on here about those bloosy 6" slug-go things that cost a bomb and caught heehaw...thankfully since then ive sussed out some more effective soft plastics

aye barry its calmed doon a fair bit noo . theres nae the swell there was. the tides nae the best and i think theres gan 2 be some folks hitting it the morrow morning by the sounds o it. but i will tell you this they were hitting straight awa due west o your rock. in the fast water well up in the flow the better ones anyhow. i think theres gan 2 be a party at scotston the night i was doon speaking to them. quite a few lads there
