well up for a whoopass.!! i mean meet...how about a later date though? maybe?...if thats the Venue/Species chosen???....even a few weeks at least.give them a real chance to be around..dont forget last year everyone was shocked by how early the hounds arrived.the water temps and generel weather situation was a lot warmer than this time last year...just a thought..will be a laugh as always..

This has been on my mind a bit, like wilky says last year we had an exceptionally warm 3 weeks late march/april and this may have brought them in early but....there have been a few showing off chesil alreadyhmy: i'm well up for april 19th but if a few lads are coming up from pastyland hoping for their first smoothy it may pay to wait a month. I've checked out a few things as agreed with bigman and..parking will be £5 per car (gone up from a quid last year robbing gits) there is no local comp there that weekend that i can find, so we should have plenty of room without walking to far. Also worth mentioning you always have a chance of a ray, plaice and especially a decent bass. Doggies can be a pest but that can happen anywhere. Maybe its worth waiting 2-3 weeks and see how the weather pans out before everyone commits just a thought.

 

a second date has been suggested. i know its a month further on but it will at least mean a better chance of getting among the hounds. (SEE POST 1)

tides better on first dates but still early for smoothies but unless you bung some crab out there you never know

 

Pingu, could you do us a favour m8 and see if any of the other east dev clubs have matches there on those dates? I checked your club but you could probaly do it a lot quicker than me. pleeaaaaseeee
