Devon Cliffs Sandy Bay

Hi all,
Will be heading down to devon cliffs caravan park in two weeks.
Im just looking for some info on the beach and what sort of bait i will need and rigs to use. I cant see my missis:whistling letting me take my full kit so will be traveling light and will also taking my 4 yr old boy on his first fishing trip:hug:.

Any info would be great, Thanks all

walk to the right once your on the beach and stop at the first set of rocks,fish 3hrs up 1 down for plaice,flounder,and bass if theres any surf,or try budleigh where you catch mackeral

Thanks for the info, Buy the look of the pictues it seams like its clean ground. Where would be the closest place to buy bait from? You mentioned rocks would i be fishing off them of just buy them , the reason i ask is my little boy will be with me.

You can get good bait and advice from exmouth tackle shop in exmouth town.

Try fishing at budleigh for mackerel, and the beach at sandy bay is clean ground and god for bass and plaice.

Is exmouth town far away from the caravan site ?
