Fished the shingle, heavy coloured sea with a roll. 2.5lb bass on second cast and lots of rattles. A good pull down surprised me with a 3-4lb hound then a slack liner, followed by line stripping off the reel and a right old scrap for this PB of 11-9. Another pup later and then quiet over HW and only 2 LSD on the ebb. Been a hard few months but this was worth the effort. Matt

I was up there yesterday on the Weybourne wreck for a few small cod and bits. Pity I wasted the short weather window when I could of been targeting these beauties, oh well.
