I don't know what it's going to be like exactly down there as I'm up on Merseyside at the mo but they give 70mph here, if it gets up round 50mph+ and SW I'd say Dungie could be a dangerous place to be and possibly unfishable?
Surely you're better to wait a day or so? Wind with tide could be nasty, there's rouge wave potential I reckon.

Good luck to ya fella, I just got blown off sandgate 50yd cast and couldn't get the tripod and the buddy to stand up at the same time. Bath is running now and lager in the fridge :drunk: will be mightily ****ed of if next door pulls a cod in, but it's unlikely.

 

just returned from dungie , nice colour in the water , nice swell , bit of brezze but well fishable . was putting baits out some monster distance's . was like flying a kite .

 

Will be there as well . Somewhere around the boat toward the lifeboat station should be well fishable with wind behind your back . Now just have to finish work .:bangin:

Think you must be looking at the same forecast as me.
Personally I would'nt want to fish it this eve if the wind's to pick up. If it drops off fine, but if it gets up to 40-50 mph it's too unpredictable for my liking.

i thought it was due to drop sataday and sunday back on monday hope so i wanna fish the addy sunday morning lets hope it stirs the cod up a bit shouldnt be too busy down there i hope as its a 2 hour treck lol

It's absolutely screaming up in here in Merseyside. Harbour radio is giving it 52kn gusting 60..

 

gusts of around 25mph forcast for sunday lunchtime according to xc weather. good chance the addy might be shut. best to phone them and ask before traveling 01304 225138.

Sorry mate, but I have a different forecast to you. Saturday and sunday seems to be dropping right off. In fact it is dropping that much there is talks of the boats going from dungie and dymchurch. Are you looking at the right area cos its not just 1 web site giving this forecast?
