Spent a few hours on the breakwater this afternoon, tip was waggling and the bait was disappearing a bit but nothing solid. So sum total of easter weekend was a 4-5" blenny from abereiddy.

Flippin' cold.

I should add, that I'm new to this game, and haven't got a clue what I'm doing - so that might have something to do with my lack of success!

On its day the breakwater is brilliant, dogs, pollock, coal fish, congers, mini species, flat fish smaller species such as pouting, tadpole fish, mackerel, garfish. Ling, cod and huss have even been caught. The 'inside' facing the harbour is onto clean ground but small fish and congers caught in close and the 'outside' is rough!! But fishing into open water so who know what could turn up, keep trying different spots on different tides and who knows what you'll catch :)
