I've priced it up few weeks ago and 5 nights including boat hire, gear hire and flights&transfer came to about ÂŁ700pp based on 4 people sharing the cabin and boat.
... that was for catching proper fish, not little tiddlers

so that's the ball park figure
What do you mean by proper fish & not little tiddlers ? I think you'll find the prices are the same regardless of species but I guess there's always one

Can't help but think anyone coming onto the LRF forum making 'little tiddlers' type comments is either on a wind up or just a bit ignorant.....

ok, you've asked how much and I tried to help you with current reasonable pricing

LRF...I love LRF (because it's fun, it teaches you to master lure presentation, it produces fish when other techniques fail...), but if I'd go to Norway I would not fish 4lb flouro&braid on my 0.5-5g rod to catch double figure pollock, coalfish or cod.... So no, not ignorant, just not plain stupid

(I can put my 15lb pike caught on my LRF rod and 1,2g jighead into my avatar if it will make any difference to my comment...)

What was your actual contribution to the OP's question?

You told us you have no idea...great, thank you ....at least I came up with something what has some sort of use

(not to be a keyboard warrior, but some of you are a bit too touchy....)

And to the Mike's comment.....yes off course LRF trip will cost you the same as any other fishing trip in Norway. I don't think selling the trip as a LRF in Norway makes much sense, yes it's great to have a couple of days LRF, but you can do that in the UK. You go to Norway for the big stuff, the 'fish of a lifetime' which you will struggle to catch around here

I wasn't questioning your contribution, I was suggesting using the term catching "little tiddlers" on an LRF forum was either a bit ignorant or you were on a bit of a wind up, I stand by that.

What sort of contribution do I need to have made on future threads before I'm allowed to have an opinion?

Well Rich... I'm not going to say we're catching guppies LOL that would be a bit of a wind up...

I take it we're a bunch of like-minded lure anglers, just sharing tips and reporting catches, no harm in saying little tiddlers unless you get offended by it...that's all I'm catching most of the time. Do I enjoy it? Yes
...nothing else matters

Michael the point is saying tiddlers is a bit derogatory anyway I can get over it easily enough. But some people have quoted that they would Happy paying around ÂŁ600 for a fishing holiday regardless of species. Many people from Scotland have traveled to swanage or anywhere far south really & vice versa & a weeks holiday ain't cheap no matter whether you stay in the uk or whether you go abroad. My passion is lrf and I would go to the other side of the world to fish lrf if I could afford it. So your comment about people going to Norway for big fish is correct however it's a wonderful place and I'm pretty sure many hundreds would like to come and try all sorts of fishing. I wasn't personally asking you whether you would come I was trying to gauge a price people were happy paying to see whether I can bring people here and experience what iv got here on a daily basis

Plenty of big game boats out of Mallorca but I'll be on the beach with a LRF rod. Much more fun imo, even if they are tiddlers.

Saying that, a 2lb barracuda won't feel like a tiddler

Yeah although I might like to sample other types of fishing when travelling abroad, my first choice would certainly be LRF.

regardless of little or big fish...
I like a bit of both... I do prefer LRF, but Norway has more to offer
If you get this going I'd be seriously interested ... within ÂŁ600-700
Yeah Norway has a lot more to offer including fly fishing which most people don't realise. The salmon and trout fishing is brilliant however me personally Lrf is my thing or Hrf also and that's just about all I want to do. Don't get me wrong it's not about me and iv posted this elsewhere. If I could go lrf fishing anywhere in the world I would go regardless of destination. The bottom line is cost

Personally I wouldn't like to part with any money to fish there but would be more than happy to head over for free:)

The question was How Much would you pay, which if I was rolling in money I dare say I would pay well into the thousands for a luxury room, good boat and good skipper. All comes down to whats in the pocket at the time;)

I would still need to think about freezing my butt off even if it was free when I could catch more species on my own doorstep.
