I've never been called exotic before! I'm chuffed.:whistlinghis exotic sounding surname boiliestop
are they being sold for bait does anybody knowYou often come across a lugworm shaped worm when digging rag in the Forth area.
It has slight 'leggy' frills - not as distinct as on ragworm. There are also some fronds around the head.
These worms also turn up around rocks when I am searching for peelers.
Tried to find a name for them - but have so far failed.
Tried them for bait a few times - only had a few fish on them. Not nearly as good a bait as lug and rag.
Trust me I'd be the best thing you've ever caught, but I ain't getting on the end of your rod!:boxing:never seen these worms and watch your self jimmy cause i want to put a kipar on my species list
Sounds the same as the one I found mate. Very lethargic moving, like lug, Frills like you said aswell, on front 2/3rds of body, alot fatter at head than tail but no distinct change in body shape like Lug? Its really bothering me what these things are! If nobody on here comes up with the name I'll be back down the same spot looking for another one to post picsYou often come across a lugworm shaped worm when digging rag in the Forth area.
