Ardmair looks a great place to stay - esp if you have got one of the chalets.
The bay itself looks quite shallow but Rhue lighthouse is just round the corner and is one of my favourite places.
When the fish aren't biting you have the Coigach behind you, the summer isles in front of you and plenty of wildlife ( could do without the seals tho ).

I would bring a couple of floats and a few wedges. Stop off in Inverness and get a big bag of raw prawns for the freezer.
Surprisingly, Ullapool hasn't got a good fishing shop ( that I know of ) so bring all the gear you might need.

The ground can be a bit kelpy and a bit rough. Great flat rocks to fish from.

Good luck. .
