Fished the beach at Kingsbarns yesterday,or should I say, tried to fish the beach.Heavy surf was washing ashore lots of heavy lumps of Kelp, which was the only thing we were hooking,:thumbdown Moved down to Anster, both piers busy,Pittenweem likewise, eventually settled on St Monans breakwater, fished the last hour of the flood then 2hours down, very snaggy ground, changed to a home-made float rig, managed I small crab, and what I think was a small rockling, which unfortunately decided to throw the hook, just as it cleared the water:wah::banghead::bye2: Ce la Vie.At least the home made float worked a treat, one positive from the day, lol.

great effort, its hard going if any kelp / weed is about on the beach'es , nowt worse than having too clean the line every cast.

pittenweem is a tackle graveyard one day , but the next you wont lose a single weight.. strange,

unlucky on the session though.
