Loch Long and loch Goil , catch and cook .

New trip this week so we all decided to go local and try our luck at fishing .

Challenge this week is a catch and cook edition , we never took food with us .

We picked some mussels , got a small cod and mackerel . We also missed a seal , he managed 3 fish from us .

We smoked the mackerel .

Shallow fried the cod .

Turned into a feast sea food platter .
Fishing turned out Ok , plenty fun using the light gear and competing against pollock and mackerel .
Good challenge and a very fresh meal to remember . Until the next adventure , tight lines all .

Really enjoyed the{recipe},mind yous have it lucky up your way.,been going up your area{well over 40years],sadly the wife @ i cant seem to get any more accomodation for us +1 small dog.
either they have retired@ stopped letting or sadly passed away.
SO NICOLAS,any heads up,re accomodatoin PLEASE..
PS,enjoyed the video aswell.

To be fair I don't really know about accommodation in this area but someone might read the tread and send you in the right direction Regpude . Would make a great visit again .

great footage! thanks for sharing. was on loch long this morning and had some decent size mackerel! where on loch goil is that lighthouse / building on the rocks? havnt seen it before
