Easy fishing option chosen Mike! lol, nice whiting... recon the wongas woulda been at lavernock point tho! :secret:

 

i did go for a drive around dave asked in the cafe at top of hill where the ranny pool was, some italian guy pointed it out to me and said it will dangerous and to muddy, so i stuck to the easy option, enjoyed though.

 

well done mike them wongers are waiting for us tuesday cant wait

Nice one mate,at least you had an easy,comfy sess,
next time though try the ranny,much better fishing,
as for being too muddy,thats only if you go down the mud bank,
I prefer to walk straight down to lavernock point,
then walk back to the ranny......only takes an extra 5 mins
and saves you going on your butt.

 

hy wyting sorry to jump on your thread me and a mate fished it on wednesday night i had a codling at 4lb and numerous dogs my mate glyn had the same except a codling at way less than a lb lol but whilst fishing there at night we both experienced some really really good bites we fished just to the right of the slip and these bites were some of the best i have ever had but nothing came of them at 1 stage i struck into a big bite i had the fish on only to come off just before landing has anyone else had bites like this it was very unusal for both of us to have so many big bites
