If you've got the rods already, then you should be telling us!

Rod action is open to interpretation though, and having cast the rods, I would class them as "throughy", rather than "tippy".

I would class my NG1 and Pro-Am as "tippy", and my Quattra (standard) as "through", and they all have good bite detection, but the Quattra needs more tension for the tip to set in the tide.
But then it's more stable in windy conditions!

Having cast the rod, its definately a forgiving "through", and I found it a very good OTG rod.
I recently witnessed a caster at a tournament, hit nearly 200yds in a stiff sidewind, (with a hi-swing pendulum), so the rod is very adaptable.

Although you may find the butt a little "soft" with the obligatory deflection test ( that's the pressing down on the lower length with the butt wedged against the skirting board), don't dismiss this as being undesirable.
When the rod is under compression, it will maintain a longer effective rod length during the cast, whereas a "tippy" rod's tip will fold out of the way to give you a faster "shorter " rod feel.

Much depends on the way you cast, and how you define feel.
Which brings me back to my first point!
