Yes,there is a few flounders showing, but until it gets a bit colder be prepared to have your bait robbed by crabs.

All the best

I have Heard of a couple of 2lb + flounders pulled out of the harbour last weekend but do agree until it gets colder ( frosts ) it isn't fishing as well as it usually does. Remember to you pop ups until the crabs have gone and plenty of bling if fishing daytime.

Here is a link showing some of the venues around the harbour

damn not really what i wanted to hear lol.... hmmm in 2 minds whether to go now due to it being so quiet....
It will be a day session and surely using pop ups isnt going to help my chance for a flounder.....

p.s i hate crabs!!!! :sneaky2:

Think you'll find they'll be quite helpful, use the biggest brightest ones you can get a hold of and load the hook with plenty of worm.

Four of us fished Rockley last Sunday and caught 9 flounders between us, only there 3 hours..biggest one 1lb6oz.

Fished flounder league Wed just gone, approx 52 fish weighed in...with a few nice bass caught too (one of them 4lb) all fished at Hamworthy Beach (Ham Park) and Rockley. So there are fish about in the harbour. :)
