well i finally managed to get out fishing and driving my new mr2 was up at 5.30 this morning the wife was of to work at half six and i was out and on my way to pwpcawl pier car is a dream to drive great fun .got out on the pier about 7.30 set up on top wall out on the end cleaned up a bit wasnt too bad by ten to eight i had a bait in the water by five to eight i had my first doggie that was it every cast doggie ended up with 37 doggies and sneaked a nice 7lb8oz smalleyed top of tide only one other lad fishing he had about 20 doggies a lovely 6lb bullhuss and a 2lb smalleyed all in all a very enjoyable day the wind did pick up after high tide and changed direction but was ok few piccies below

Ell ov a sesh bud, I think you caught about 12 dogs when I left, beauty of a ray:fishing: gutted I didn't bring my rods now, bet the other guy had fun with that huss:bb::thumbs:
yes it was a bit of a challenge for him 15lb line no shockleader dont think he would have got it in porthcawl bassman was out having a chat and he very slowly handlined the huss up the side
