thanks, im asking about the main sands. i have not seen people fishing it. is it as unproductive as te pier. i am asking as i have fished ramsgate for a god few years, even when neros was there and demolition was going on, on the old marina, however i have not seen people fish the main sands just up from the pier, does anybody have any comment on that ?

 

i find that the sand can get everywhere, especially when it's windy. i think it fishes pretty well, you really need to have a look over low water and fish to the side of the sand/ rock bar.

i also find the pier fishes pretty well too. not usually big but lots of fish. i don't think i blanked on there last year.
