recomend me some plugs?

ok so usually i fish plastics and spinners but i fancy a crack at this plugging lark,got a 8ft bushwhaker xlnt 10-40/awa shima blackbird 3000 loaded with 18lb powerpro and some fluro but i need some plugs....

now the marks i will be fishing are rough/kelpy and in places shallow so il be looking for shallow divers and surface plugs (the surface appeals most)

so can someone recomed a few cheap but effective surface/shallow lures to get me started? prefer not to go far past £10 each till i see how things go

Was just about to tell you as well, surface plugs make sure you change out the trebles for that mark to smaller ones and be prepared for podlies lunging at them first if your round about the rock. No go far wrong with a Yo-Zuri Hydro Popper in chrome silver black for top.

aye the podlies are a menace on the spinners.il have a look at that popper and think il get a dexter easy walk and a darter
