I fished there tonight and stayed till 8pm no one came and kicked me off.Had loads and loads of pouting more in day light hard to fish 2 rods as there were so many.
Nice and comfortable place to fish and had a nice welcome as I parked my car in the car park, a lady of the night (allthough it was daylight) asked me if I was looking for business.
Might return tommorow for the fishing honest......:whistling

is it 6pm now? was 8 before!
security with big feck off dogs at night :uhuh:
Must be 6am -8pm then, thought it was 8am - 6pm, whatever :D

As for the ladies of the night, honestly a friend of a friend told me they hang about in rochester high street, maybe they have moved on now and offering there services to the anglers. Guess they stink of fish anyway so a bit of a rub with a dirty stinking pouting caked fishermen wont make them smell any better :D The bit about them having crabs sounds good tho, i hope there peelers. ;)

And just had a look through that slide show, leon you ******* :D i thought i evaded the camera :(

I went back the next day (yesterday 10th)and used my last score of lug and some squid I had left .The tide was at 9,40 neap tide ,and arrived at 8.30.
Met this time not by a lady of the night ,but a seal poping his head out looking at me trying to fish.( must be my looks)
Did not catch so many pout as the evening before but ,what I did was smaller, had some whiting (small ones again), got down to 5 worms at 11.00 so there was a bit of run put 3 lug on my pennel rig and along came mr cod (about 1-2 lb)I then had one cast which came to nothing and went home filleted it and had it for my tea.
Well pleased as it was the first cod ,all be it not a big one,but a first for quiet a few years.:clap3::clap3::clap3:

I've tried riverside but I just can't find it in me to enjoy fishing here. It's just too industrial - you're looking out at warehouses.

Now, fishing round the corner - opposite the castle from the corner of the municipal car park just in front of the bridge is nice - good view, you're kept busy dodging the boats, interesting encounters with locals(!) and some nice fish hugging in close to the reed beds. It's just a shame that there's so many snags there - I've lost so much tackle there that I'm surprised I haven't managed to make my own little bridge across the river.
