Hi, im going to attempt to paint the tip of my rod. Just wondering the best method to use and which paint is best? Should I remove all of the chipped paint which is already there. Many thanks. . . . . . .Jim,
oh and is 'glow in the dark paint a realistic option?

before getting reflective tape I used Tippex correcting fluid....cheap, comes with its own sponge 'brush'...it's obtainable in any stationers, quick drying and lasts for ages, if it flakes off its easy to touch it up. It shows up well in a headlight beam.

slap it on over the chips

Hi ,

back in the 80's i had a rod with glow in the dark paint on the tip . It worked a while , but absolutely not long enough . I would'nt bother with paint : a lot of work for a poor result ... just use reflective tape .
