rough firth 23/5/08

fished rough firth today with dab hand and a pal , started fishing about
10.30am hw 3pm very quite , bait was peeler crab as we were after flatties , got the fright o ma life with a big slack liner straight away a thought bass :nono: wrong , turned out to be a smoothound :clap2: yahoo as its a first for me , ended the sesh with 3 flounders and a smoothie between us , not the most profitable sessions but the smoothie more than made up for it , still very enjoyable day in pleasant
surroundings.

stiil an ok session there even though uz didnt get nearly as many flatties as normal.. still .. well done

Andy, Well done on the smoothhound,but it seems that the old saying is correct,"wind in the east ,fishing's the least",I was down that area on Sun. past,withmy grandson, an Easterly wind,not a touch
