After being out briefly yesterday, i discovered that only having 3 slats on ny seago,,,,,,,,,,,,,,i have had a thought of getting 2 more made to fit in between the exsisting ones ,and 1 for the bow ,ive just made a template for that,,,,,,,,,,,,,i can get all this done in the carpentry section ,and varnished in the p&d section,,,,,,,,,,,,ill buy them a drink for it ,,,,,,,,,,,,,is it SAFE to do this?,,,,,,,,,it be a darn sight more comfy sitting in it fishing for hours,,,,,,,,,,,,,plus more room as well sitting on the deck.i found it uncomftable sitting on the inflate thwart operating the tiller,,,,,,,,,,,,id keep the wooden one, as best up higher for rowing,,,,,,,,,,,,,hope someone can help TIGHT LINES

IMO yes, but but make sure there are no sharp edges on the ply in fact all rounded edges would be good.
No guarantees though, but it is something I would do.
