As above, although cod generally arrive in numbers maybe later than your trip on the reefs.
Head towards minehead for early cod.

thanks for replies guys, its been 15 - 20 years since i last fished the channel, so i am looking forward to it.

Hi I'm also travelling up to that area to fish dunster or watchet in October time for a night, looking to do a high tide mark followed by a low tide mark for cod etc should be a lot of fun
