OMG! there was one of those things found near me in seasalter three years ago, they closed the beach of for nearly a week while they studied variuos things they found, apparently it is some kind of unexplained mutant turtle,

Looks like a badger to me by the prominent crest on the top of the skull, although the skull is in a bit of a state.
