i fished here a couple of times before, the tide pulls very strong the closer you get to the head, and i mean you can put a float out to your right and it'll be over your left in a matter of seconds. good pollock mark i've had them spinning and sandeel under a float fished very deep. i wouldnt recommend fishing this place in big swells, makes for very uncomfortable fishing.

Hi aaron I have not fished there, but have been planning to myself. It seems to fishe like a place I used to go on the llyn peninsula called uwchmynyd. Try a set of tinsel feathers with a decent dexter wedge on the bottom. I find this always pulls out a decent pollock as it mimmicks a fish chasing bait fish and you always have the chance of a mackeral. Let us know how you get on. Good luck

ideally you want small tides for st davids,no rain, and light winds ,especially if their west or south, northerlies or easterlies you might get some protection if you know for the ledges along the coast. the swells on the head will rise and drop a good few meteres so be carefull anywhere near there if rough.
