Swansea West Pier 28th October

Fished the West Pier this afternoon. First cast had a nice bite, whatever it was it bit through my hook length. Second cast snag and lost everything!

Attempt 3 again nice bite and two whiting. Then some more whiting and a dogfish. Finished off with another dogfish and snag two taking the trace. Decided to leave and visit Rodgers tackle to put new line on both reels after giving the line a hammering trying to get out of the snag's. Not lost tackle off the pier for a while, dont know what I was catching.

Not a bad sesh, happy to catch a few fish and a couple of hours out. Ended up with two dogfish and five whiting.

I fished the County Hall tonight Dogs and Whiting, thats all. Will put a report on tomorrow when in work.

Not as bad as I thought it would be. Wind had died down from the morning. Nice swell coming in.

I was thinking of trying county hall but thought the big tide with swell would make it difficult. Look forward to reading daveonawave catch report
