heading to skye in march will be looking to get some mackeral and blueys if they sell them .
will be at portree so will be looking to get bait

Depends where your fishing Ade. Excellent well stocked gun and tackle shop in Dunvegan. Not sure how they are for bait but the owner fishes with pictures of Pollock to 14lb caught from the shore last year.

I go up every year and he has always had frozen mackies in. A lot of the islanders fish so he seems to have a good customer base on the island. He is the cycle shop, so you need to go in to the cycle shop to get to the fishing stuff.

why not get a delivery from baits direct , for the day before you go, well packed and the price is ok, could stick the lot in freezer,then repack when your going to leave, 2 blueys pack £1.75 hard to beat, even with £7 delivery, if your buying a fair amount its as cheap as you'll get.

Hi Ade how u doing,Dunvegan sport and tackle tel.01470 521730 give him a ring before u go,and u must give Neist point a shot bit of a walk but could be worth it.been up at Lochaline 4 a week trying me campervan out going back when the weather breaks 4 the better.enjoy Skye .
