Fished the deeps tonight with martin2104 towards the right. Amazingly clean that side, didnt even see an inch of discarded line, nevermind a bait packet :thumbs:
Very calm night, bit chilly once the clouds cleared, but not too bad. We ended up between us with: 6 or 7 whiting from about 4oz to just shy of a lb, a rockling, and 3 codling, of approx 1.5, 3 and 4lbs.
Bluey for the whiting, plain lug or whole squid for the codling.
Martin (the other one) took all the codling and the rockling, I managed the majority of the whiting.
Good company, pretty good fishing, very enjoyable night all round :thumbs:
