Hi
I think I would go to Abbotsbury for some fish.
On Sunday loads of whiting a few pout and heard of a few Cod.
A match at Ferrybridge end on Saturday night, produced
only a few Dogs and I believe 1 Cod.
Good luck

Thanks guys...

No it wasn't me DB..I was at the Weymouth end.

Anyway...did some (very) mental arithmetic...

10 trips since the last cod..

£6 petrol per trip = £60

£12 bait per trip = £120

£3 sundry tackle per trip = £30

Total cost = £210

Average 7 hours fishing per trip = 70 hours.

Total weight of cod = 7lb

Therefore those fish cost £30 and 10 hours per pound!!!!

Was it worth it??

Yes...the feeling of looking around and seeing those fish in the light of my headlamp and thinking they're mine..I caught them...they're mine..is something that is hard to explain and harder to beat!!!!....and I'd do it all again next week!!!

atb g. (praying he doesn't catch a double cos it'll cost a fortune!!!)
nice one ile second that, you cant beat getting out there and catching your own. its a good feeling and great fun being out with other poeple with the same interest. i love it and i can never get anoth.
