Hi guys......here's another fishing vid to help while away a minute or two......i hope you enjoy it :)

I have also added the following post to the comment section of the video to try and help raise awareness about the issue of using bright lights on the Harbour Arms......cheers.......Billy :D

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi guys.....Can i please take this opportunity to draw your attention to an important issue) ......Our local port authority at Shoreham ( part of which is featured in my video above) are requesting that all sea anglers fishing the east and west breakwaters at the harbour entrance......to please make sure they have blue filters fitted to their fishing headlights) ......There have been reports of sea anglers fishing the breakwaters and shining extremely bright headlights into the wheelhouses of vessels approaching the entrance, temporarily blinding those trying to navigate safely between the breakwaters :-(( ......If you could please watch the video linked at the end of this post for an explanation about the blue filters and then maybe if you wouldn't mind sharing the blue filter video across your other social media platforms, it would be very much appreciated) ......Thank you very much and tight lines.....Billy

enjoyable video m8.
Part of me thinks we should be doing more with these videos as they really are catching attention.... I'm going to flag it internally and see if we can do anything.

Thanks billy
Enjoyed watching that ......worked down that way in the late 70s for a few years . Still find it easier to buy my bait ......these diggers earn their money .
Nice to come back on the forum to watching a great video, really interesting.
anglers don't do enough of these
Had i of known you were going to fish there i would of phoned Joe and asked him to lean out of his window and throw things at you lol....we'll discuss those yellow marker bouys on your snoods and baiting up etc... next time.
Great video Sir!! i'll have to get a mount for my phone to shoot some videos on my next trip.
thank you billy top stuff indeed, and spot on entertainment seeing that bite , more please, (would be interested in the rig conversation with HW)
Great video, that has somewhat alleviated my cabin fever, not been out in almost 2 weeks now . That really wants to make me go flounder bashing on the thames now with nice light gear and rolling leads, really relaxing stuff cheers.
Nice video!
Well done mate ,,,again ,,, quality right through , top marks .:)
Another enjoyable watch Billy your starting to get a bit good at this filming lark, thanks for putting it on......Alan
Great video, had me waiting at the end for the bites, or the tide catching you up!!
4 casts two fish, cannot complain too much :D

Well done.
Thats brilliant! Shades of Out of Town - captures the innocent joy of fishing.
Thank you
Good stuff billy, should have gave us a shout I'd of poped down for a hour or two, bit camera shy though,
Great video, enjoyed it.
Really enjoyed it although wife wants me to go get her some choccy now from the shops after she saw your bar
Thanks for all the comments folks.......they are much appreciated......and they help motivate me to make more vids :)

I was watching the following vid yesterday which you might like. It's not a fishing vid, it's a sort of interview vid and i thought what the guy was talking about was really interesting. It's like a geeks-eye view of the habits of a Flounder. I hope you get something out of it like i did.

Cheers and tight lines.......Billy :D

Enjoyed that, thanks for sharing. Nothing like catching a few flounders and seeing them go back alive.
Brilliant thanks Billy, and well done on catching the bite on the rod tip. Loving the videos, cheers
Well done Billy and thanks for plugging the blue filter.

You'll be able to sell that clock for thousands soon mate, an iconic symbol of the fishosopher video craze lol. This time next year it will be as famous and Trotter's Independant Traders three wheeler. lol

If you fish there again mate take a few peeler if you know what I mean.

Thanks for watching.
Wonderful movie, and such a narrow river. It helps to appreciate why the tackle you're used to isn't right for everyone everywhere. My 14' beachcaster with 6oz lead would be overkill there.

The panoramic shots were excellent. It has given me an idea, that I think bubbles may be ahead of me on.....
Really enjoyed it!! took me back to the Jack Hargreaves era.
You bring it on Steve, your expertise I would suggest is way ahead of me on this..... Im just an opportunities man ;)

Great to see so many positive comments, take a bow billy :)
Nice one, Billy, really enjoyed it. Interesting rigs and baiting techniques...
Nice Vid Billy - Thanks for sharing mate
Thanks for that, sat and watched it through rather than getting ready for work. Please post these after 8 am from now on :D
Thanks for the vid really enjoyed it.
just the thing on a cold gloomy afternoon after getting in from digging.
Cheers
Pete
Many thanks Billy, I enjoyed watching that, your unscripted commentary, 'as it happens' is just how we all feel. Brilliant.
'The video diary of Billy the Fishosopher 2015' must be on the cards.
Really entertaing video, thoroughly enjoyed it so thanks for posting. Just shows how effective adding a personal commentary is.
I did too Mike, after some swearing and abuse I was quite constructive I thought (Adur match angler perspective).

Far more productive and less muddy Flounder spots than the Emerald Quay slip though it served it’s purpose.

To get a bite on camera, lose the grip lead and put a pyramid on, after the initial bite ready the camera, now give a few turns of the handle to move the lead/rig and any hooked Flounder will let you know it’s there.

The bait ups, that was for heavy crabtivity, typically you would establish the fact first (in the absence of intel) and work from there, there was no crab activity so putting those reds to best use would have been the way to go, head hooked and nipped tails/gently trod on etc…

That’s only my critical eye Mike which can be disregarded as Billy was not in match mode, got the job done and made a good vid.

Oh and the rigs were pants too lol
brilliant stuff from both of you ( maybe a vid in there somewhere billy ;-) )

thank you
Loved it! Well done mate... We used to catch stacks of Flounder in Chichester harbour but they've disappeared now. Such a shame... I'm not entirely sure what is to blame but my best guess is Seals
Another great video mate, thank you. Sat in the big smoke getting greener by the minute!

And it's not an easy thing to do by any means. I know. Got a gopro in the summer to take on trips south to make video reports. Yet to produce anything as I have trouble enough with the fishing in itself!

Keep em coming mate & we might all get through the next 3 months sane :)
Love all the videos you keep making. I seem to fish the same locations as you so its interesting to see how other people get on fishing these locations. Great stuff keep them coming.
Great video billy, two nice flounder, enjoyed it.
Thanks again for all the positive comments guys......good stuff :)

Can i take advantage here of all the goodwill and give a shout out to a young fella who i think could easily be the future as far as making fishing vids go. I saw one of his earlier vids and left him a comment on the vid saying i was looking forward to his next one and here it is.

Before you watch it......please be aware that i have offered my thoughts and advice regarding the nifty knife work at the beginning via the comment section on the vid so if you can, please see your way past any potential safety issue and see the bigger picture. (I thought i would mention the knife bit to him, purely because someone pointed out something similar to me when i was preparing a fish. If you click the YOUTUBE link on the vid, you will see the comment i left on the vid. and hopefully that will be enough advice about the use of the knife :) )

I did say i would try and get him some more viewers for his vids so if you wouldn't mind encouraging an up and coming vid maker by watching the vid, i would really appreciate it. If you want to leave any encouraging comments here on the thread, i'll let him know his vid is here and maybe he will visit the thread for a look.

Ok that's the sales pitch over......i hope you see the hidden ability i can see in the young fella and i hope you enjoy the vid......cheers guys.......Billy :D
