Hi guys

What's peoples thoughts on the Viking reload ? I've watched some reviews on youtube and they look pretty good!
I'm seriously considering selling my old ocean big game and buying one. Any of you own one or got any experience with them?

Thanks

Pretty much the same price I think, although I've not been looking too hard. The rail blazer is about ÂŁ1600 with rudder and one or two other bits.
Prices of anything recreational seem have all been a victim of the "Covid" tax though so I'll be waiting until winter, when hopefully prices will have settled a little. Or might get lucky and pick something up second hand.

Yeah good idea about waiting until winter maybe January sales? I wonder if a few of us all got together and bought 3 or 4 of these in one order if we would get a deal?

I was thinking about a Kayak for inshore fishing earlier in the year, but it would have to be a pedal Yak as my upper half isn't good. I follow a couple of YouTube channels from the USA - One guy is an "Influencer" for Pelican Kayaks, and the other one is connected with Old Town. At the time, the Old Town Predator PDL was around $2600 on their USA website for the 2020 model, and a local dealer had the older 2019 model "on offer" here in the UK for ÂŁ4200. Whilst I know they have to be shipped USA >UK, I wasn't being ripped off by that amount, so shelved the idea.

I'll be steering clear of the hobies I think, you could get a very good kayak + motor and still have change for the price of one of those. Personally I just couldn't justify that sort of outlay. No doubt they're quality kit but they're also heavy from what I've read, as well as breaking me it'd probably break my wee 107 too!

hmm not sure it was a quieter part it was about 10 miles outside Glasgow (M74) if memory serves right and the police had to shut that entire side of the carriage way so the trailer could be recovered from the central reservation/outside lane where it finished and this was around rush hour.
