Ive seen a few pics of some caught in the last week on the breakaway FB group...
All head and no belly though which seems to be the norm for the ones that turn up randomly in the summer.

dunno Den , same place as usual i suppose , norway?
I reckon if the beast didnt hit us you may have seen a few last year, they seemed to be coming from thecnorth fairly quickly, i had 5 in 2 sessions literally days before it hit at clacton , the yakkers were getting some good bags just prior

I have My new cod rod so once i start catching i will upload pics. Its a lucky rod as come with a cod sticker on it so surly that a good sign of whats to come.
 
Several codling reported this week from Kent beaches codling in August a good sign usually and possibly a sign of some fish moving inshore this winter, their out in the channel in the boats

I knew it buying my new cod rod is worth all the money. I just not caught a cod on it yet
