thats a fair point prawny, but, he only used it because he ran out of bait elastic, if you tried to hold slipper limpets or big squid/lug sausaged on there with sellotape, i think you'd spend longer trying to hold it all together than fishing !! bait elasic is cheaper too, it costs about a quid for a roll, i use it alot, and only use about 4 rolls a year max,

one more thing, has anyone got a tripod i could borrow on the day?? mine is very heavy (made out of steel) and doesnt work very well.

if not no worries, but it always falls over, i think its a home made job (i got it for free from a mate).

i need to get a new one i know, but the B*****ds at work didnt need me this weekend so i couldnt go get one!!

Jamie I've got a spare mate but its so light that a Plaice f@rting would knock it over! (Do fish F@rt?) Sounds like a good offer from Prawncocktail as you'll need to practice with just one rod for the 28th!

Herrings fart. Scientists are currently working on the theory that they communciate by farting, after military picked up strange noises on their accoustic recording equipment. I also communicate by farting. When I wake up in the morning, eveybody knows I am awake, after my first visit to the toilet. Thats also communicating......

Aside from all that, Henry, where are you ordering your bait from?

Done it from Solent. But have orders for £50 worth, which is all I can store in the second fridge for the night as it is also full of white wine, Boss won't let me use main one for bait.
