Slow start, but blank saved

First time out in what seems like an age due to work, family and more so the weather/ tides.
After some discussions on where to fish, it was decided we once again try Cymyran. After blanking there back in July, we had since been told we had fished the wrong place and some said it was fished best at night and at low when the currant doesn't rip through the channel as much.
6pm we headed out to fish 2 down 2 up with low water being at 9pm. With a few groups already fishing the beach we set up camp feeling hopeful. No sooner had we set up, the group's had gone..... Oh dear!!

We sat patiently trying different baits, attractors and rigs, but ended up leaving on a blank again from this venue just after low water - beaten again!

On trying to beat the blank of the night, we headed towards home and to fish until 11ish down doch Bach.
Using some left over rag, we were soon on to the pin whiting. One even caught on just the moon glow attractors I had bought on the weekend - daft fish!!
Few hits on a conger rig as well, but nothing hooked.
12 whiting to end the night, so least after weeks of no fishing, I've finally been reminded what a fish looks like so I'm happy.
Any tips on cymyran would be gratefully appreciated.

Ah nice one Timbc2. Really don't want to be beaten by the mark as it's local, stunning and I hear so many good things of the area
